From Dangerous Depths

A classic fifties film noir, loosely based on Fritz Lang’s M. William Bendix works surprisingly well in the Peter Lorre role, and is handsomely supported by Robert Ryan and Ida Lupino, two people who never gave anything but their best. Directed by the otherwise unknown L. Talbot Greengrass; scored by Dmitri Trolley, possibly a pseudonym.
